The Armstrong County Manufacturing Consortium (ACMC) is an organization made up of member companies related to the manufacturing facility within Armstrong County. The objective of the ACMC is to identify and address the needs of the participating members with issues and concerns ranging from employee training to health care and unemployment benefit costs. In an effort to assist the manufacturing industry of Armstrong County the ACMC has set the following goals:

• Serve as a networking opportunity for its members
• Identify key short and long term actions to save manufacturing in Pennsylvania
• Provide a voice for manufacturers in Harrisburg
• Cooperate to use government programs to assist manufacturers
• Help members remain competitive in the marketplace
• Always seek the highest quality and the most effective means of addressing members' needs, with a focus on the future
• Partner with local schools to develop a skilled workforce
• Advance manufacturing concerns through larger organizations
